Car was disabled on Dec.31st in Asheville NC. On star was suppose to call a tow,but did not.I called back to see how long two would be,the lady said it had not been dispatched.When the truck did come 2hrs.later,the driver took us home,then towed my car.i called Monday to check on my car at Asheville Chevrolet,but it was not there/was taken to the Dodge dealer. So my phone app,I pressed locate vehicle,no location available.On Star really stalled their assistance with my vehicle.

Recently I have experienced difficulty in obtaining directions due to the representative not understanding the English language. Today was a prime example: I had provided the address (street name and number within the city I was in) to Onstar. She could not spell the street name word "(Fiddletown Road In Poway, CA)". I had to spell it 3 time and pronounce each letter individually before she could enter my destination. Never did work so I stopped my car because I believed I was getting clos to my destination. The next Onstar rep came on and he could not provide directions with Onstar. He finally provided directions verbally for about ten minutes until I arrinved at my destination. Then, my Onstar screen would not disengage from the Onstar program and stayed on for about 4 hours until it shut down. This is the third time I have had issues with my Onstar and am seriously deciding whether to cancel my service. I have had Onstar for many year with ho issues, but lately you quality had really gone into the bottom.

They gave me a 6-month free trial when I bought my new car so I used it, before the 6 months was up I removed my debit card, so they would cancel my service. Well instead of canceling my service they continued to bill me for 3 months and didn't contact me about it till 3 months later when they said I owed them $90.

Two weeks ago tried to start our Buick after eating at a restaurant in town. We had no power.

I called OnStar (push button) in car.

I waited over 30 minutes finally called again to hear they couldn't locate anyone. I knew we had a local towing service but had no idea of the name or number. I asked if they could call local P.D. &;;;;;;;;;;; ask if they had that number in their file.

They call back and said they sent the police over to jump the car and bowed OUT !. Well, the police do not jump the car, due to all the computer functions in cars they do not attempt to jump cars now. BUT they located the number SO I ended up tracking down and calling the towing service. I'm upset because NOW on my app for Onstar and myBuick on my cell it is completely blank when I bring it up !

WHY ? Also the person who assisted was very short and really very little effort to help. Right now I'm really unsure if I want to renew OnStar also the last time I asked directions they never connected to our vehicle, I had to rely on my phone.

I paid $295.00 last April for this service. With no phone app, I question if I still have the service ?

I waited almost 2 hours last night in the cold & told them I need a tow truck it wasn’t my battery. They sent me a car in the dark.

I’m a women by myself in a non working car at night.

My car is still there & I’ve gotta go threw it all again today after I get a ride back. On Star is not worth the money

I have spoken to 7 different onstar advisors. This has been going on for over 90 minutes. I tried to use the navigation system and the screen sent a message that your onstar subscription has expired contact your onstar advisor. Know Im on hold for another tech o star advisor. I told the seventh person I couldnt stay on the line. She said to call back Monday 877-558-****.

Every time I use my onstar which is daily for work purposes , I can never be connected right away. Agents take too long to connect to calls for map downloads and they suggest you use your cell phone for directions.. What the *** am I paying yall for. tried to discontinue service today, ask to speak to a supervisor. Had me on hold 50 minutes and still no supervisor ,

Theft from OnStar

With OnStar they continually took money out of our account after we had canceled twice when I complained they asked me to contact them privately and give them details and after that they continually had young people who did not know what they were doing trying to fix the problem but all they really did was tell me that they're not going to refund my money most dishonest company I've ever dealt with most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with he.

I recommend going to privacy.com and setting up a virtual card with them with a $1 spending limit. I updated my payment information with Onstar to that, and now they can't charge me.

I tried to call to cancel twice, and got disconnected both times. I just fixed it where they can't bill me again after that.

Dissatisfied with service.

I bought a used vehicle from a dealer and have tried to reach OnStar via the blue button 4 times. So far, the calls have not been answered. I called the OnStar representative by phone to activate service: they said to use the blue button to reach them. Now I'm not convinced they would be responsive anyway.
