OnStar left us stranded

Our GMC Denali Ultimate HD broke down and left us stranded on the St. Petersburg, FL - Skyway Bridge, and we used our OnStar service to request service. We waited for five hours on this dangerous bridge and they never came. Thankfully, we decided to explore other options after about 90 minutes and were able to find alternate arrangements by paying out of pocket. OnStar called us once we had the truck towed to check in. We had a terrible experience with their despicable customer service. Very disappointing service.

Took my credit card info and would not remove it from a corporate account even though they told me that i would be able to remove it at any time before the trial period. This is a scam and they should be out of business as they are liars and cheats. Dont use them, don't give them any info

Extremely dissatisfied. My turn by turn kept recording erro. Still after four representatives and two technical supports. I had to switch to my phone. This has been ongoing for 8 months. I was late getting to the airport as the on star navigation did not get me there. It took me off course after talking to a representative. So over itont get on star buy navigation or yse your phond

Untrained advisors

Ive been with onstar for many years, but lately the customer service is terrible. I purchased a different vehicle, all I needed was the service to be transferred from the old vehicle to the new vehicle. They started sending my emails to my husbands email , then set up auto draft for my husbands onstar account to come from my personal checking account. The incompetents is dangerous, they definitely need to do a better job.

I think it's a waste of time and money. GM tried to stick it to me with that more than once with new vehicle purchases but I politely yet vehemently declined.

Regardless, here came the mail with "my account number" on it for the entire term of the lease. Pestilence.

Bad service & Rude personal

I bought a Chevrolet Silverado and in about three months the WiFi hotspot went out. It stopped working around 25 August 2023 and as of today 8 December they still are unable to fix it or can not.

I have spent So much money, wasted time, aggravation and been lied to that it would make your blood boil. In my opinion,OnStar has about the worst customer service ever possible. They will not return your calls. They will lie to you (and are professional at it).

When I pay the price of a new vehicle you would think the service would be better as the OnStar is one of the selling points of GM. DO NOT BY A GM PRODUCT FOR or C BECAUSE of the OnStar features.

OnStar has so many Negative Reviews.I would not recommend them to ANYONE.

To cancel my service on Buick and put it on Toyota Rav 4

OnStar was cancelled thanks for that. I didnt know Toyota had something other than OnStar. I appreciate your help. I wish I had known about pissedconsumer when I was dealing with Speed Queen over washing machine. Took about a year to get anything done to our satisfaction.

On star not working

While in Green Bay, pressed on-star button for directions to a location in near by De Pere wis. The button was dead no response of any type. Drove to De Pere and tried again. No response. Used Google on cell phone to find needed location. 'after leaving an d driving southbound on I-43 , pressed button and finally got a Rep. on the system. Was told we were in a dead spot. An 11 mile dead spot. After ending call it then took several minutes before system was exited by on-star.

Switch service to my son

I dont know what happened. I have to give up driving because of my health so I put my car in his name. I wanted to switch on star and Siris xm over in his name. It is already paid for and I will continue to with the plan. Hard to get through to on star. Have been trying for 3 weeks now. I had to move to Michigan with my son so my new address is 1632 Waldorn NE ave Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505. Would appreciate a response, thank you, Nita Lane

Billing issue was resolved once I got an agent in USA.

The first line of customer service was unable to resolve the issue but he did try. Minutes later Im transferred to a senior customer service representative who had the issue resolved in less than 10 minutes with 2 vehicles involved. This representative was clear in speech with no communication barriers.
